Sage Bookkeeper (Part Time)

A small busy firm of Chartered Accountants is searching for an enthusiastic Sage Bookkeeper on a Part Time basis to join their team based in their Maidstone office. You will be joining a very team focused environment and you will need to be organised and have a cheery disposition as client liaison is necessary. Description Joining as a Bookkeeper in the firms Maidstone office, you will carve a key role in this successful firm. The firm acts for varied clients, on largest turnovers and wide ranging smaller ltd companies, sole traders and partnerships, providing the spectrum of general, all round accountancy practice services to their client base. Your duties will include bookkeeping, VAT returns, submitting company accounts preparing accounts and tax. Our client is looking for the right addition to the team, in a very wide ranging role to work with them closely, where they will support and develop the right person, with a view to becoming a key, long term employee in this successful firm. The firm uses Sage Accounting software. Profile You may be any of AAT qualified, studying AAT, studying ACCA, or looking to build further on your experience. Ideally, you will have a background in accountancy practice or with at least 2-3 years or more experience within the profession, as a Bookkeeper, with experience across any of preparing accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, management accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Experience of Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll are essential and this position will be based on working 3 days per week or equivalent. We are acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this role
