Senior Accountant

A growing and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants based in Bristol is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team carving a role with increasing responsibility on offer within this firm as a key addition.

Client Details

Based in Bristol, with parking on site the firm acts for very wide ranging clients across all a wide spectrum of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across varied industry sectors, with wide ranging turnovers. The firm also has a smaller number of decent sized corporate clients and medium sized groups, as registered auditors. A mix of remote/home working to office involvement is also on offer within this firm.

Description

Joining as key addition as a Senior Accountant based in the firms Bristol offices you will carve a key role within the team undertaking a hands on role delivering across year end accounts production, personal and corporate tax work, VAT, alongside developing junior and reviewing work, helping and advising clients on online accounting and looking to take on the management and delivery of a quality service and client base over time as your develop within this firm and role, developing client relationships and carving a role within this successful team and firm. Should you have audit experience this can be utilised, whilst not essential and the client work can be moulded around the right persons experience and areas of interest. There will be increasing responsibility on offer as you develop within the role taking on more client portfolio management duties.

Profile

The firm is looking to consider individuals across a range of levels as the role can be moulded accordingly around this. So you may be studying for ACA/ACCA at part qualified or finalist levels and looking for support to complete your studies, or you could equally be recently qualified ACA/ACCA as an experienced Senior Accountant. Alternatively you may have developed your career entirely through experience to date. Most importantly you will have a career background developed within the accountancy practice sector, working within a firm of accountants of any size with at least three to four years experience or more, within the sector within a mix of skills across any of audit, preparing year end accounts, tax and delivering wider services to mixed clients. You will be looking to progress within your career and be seeking an opportunity within a leading firm of chartered accountants that offers you a path to develop.

Job Offer
