Accounts Technician / Assistant Accountant

A growing firm of accountants based on the south western edge of Bristol is searching for an Accounts Technician / Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full or part time basis, dependent on the preferences and fit of the right person. You will deliver wide ranging services across preparing accounts, personal and corporate tax, bookkeeping, VAT etc and carve a role in this successful business.

Description

Joining as Accounts Technician / Assistant Accountant based in the firms offices based near Bristol, on the South Western edge of the city, you will be taking on the preparation of year end accounts for wide ranging and varied clients across limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. You will deliver personal and corporate tax compliance with involvement in wider services across VAT, bookkeeping, management accounts and other responsibilities. Your involvements with clients and technical responsibilities will increase over time as you develop within the team and role and you will be encouraged to progress and develop within your career, with the support of highly experienced, qualified professional around you, combined with study support on offer for those looking to pursue further qualifications.

Profile

You will be any of AAT qualified, or studying for AAT at level 3 / 4, ACCA or other qualifications. Alternatively you may have developed your career entirely through experience to date. Most importantly you will have a career background developed within the accountancy practice sector, working within a firm of accountants of any size with at least two years experience, or ideally more within this sector preparing any of year end accounts, tax, VAT, bookkeeping etc for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. Full time, five days a week or part time, with anything from three to four days a week working arrangements are also equally viable to explore as there is scope to mould working arrangements and hours around the right persons preferences.

Job Offer
