Ernst & Young's Strategy and Transactions Services (SaT) practice offers companies professional transaction experience. We help clients determine the right deal to do, and then assist them in doing the deal right. Within SaT, Transaction Support services encompass the strategic development and execution of an appropriate transaction structure, including the execution of financial due diligence. Our team works to understand profit drivers and trends, challenge assumptions of future performance, and assist with purchase agreements and post-closing transaction matters.

We currently have a career opportunity for a Staff professional in Transaction Support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Seniors, Managers, and Partners in the delivery of corporate finance and real estate advisory related services.
  • Design financial projections and conduct financial analyses related to investment and valuation data.
  • Prepare information memoranda with respect to feasibility, acquisition, divestiture, valuation, due diligence and financing transactions.
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research, collate and present data, and prepare marketing documents.
  • Perform financial modeling, trend and variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Execute procedures defined by the engagement objectives, client's engagement history, and planned approach. Perform research, prepare schedules, and support due diligence in other related areas.
  • Maintain a strong client focus by serving client needs and maintain/develop productive working relationships with clients. Create work products that document engagement procedures. Stay informed of current business/economic developments relevant to the client.
  • Develop people through teamwork, integrity, and leadership. Support colleagues and value others' contributions.
  • Commit to developing knowledge. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery. Respect/protect confidential client information.
  • Bring potential opportunities to the team's attention. Seek, develop, and present ideas to apply EY's services.

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • a bachelor's degree, preferably in mathematics, accounting, finance, economics or a related field
  • a minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • proficiency in MS Excel, E-Views, BMDP or any other econometrics software
  • strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • a dedication to teamwork
  • a strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
