Finance Business Partner - Legal Advisory

We are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join DWF.

The Legal Advisory division provides global premium legal advice and excellent client service through our commercial intelligence and industry sector experience.

A Finance Business Partner within Legal Advisory needs to ensure that financial operations are running well and are fit for the future in order to support the Group's ambitious growth objectives. They will work proactively with the Head of Finance Legal Advisory and other key stakeholders to support and develop working relationships between the Finance function and the business. In part, this will be through the provision of accurate, valuable and innovative commercial financial advice, supporting fee earners to ensure that the financial performance of the firm is optimised.

To achieve this they must be passionate about driving growth and business performance, as well as identifying areas where processes can be improved and delivering those improvements whilst demonstrating strong commercial acumen. They need excellent communication skills to engage successfully with colleagues and show an ability to influence stakeholders across all levels to positively drive financial results.

Skills and experience we are looking for:
  • A graduate qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Experience of process change and business transformation.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrable experience of building strong and robust relationships.
  • A proven track record in having influenced key stakeholders to positively drive business performance.
  • A high level of commercial and strategic acumen, and the ability to educate and support the business to understand their financial performance.
  • Significant experience working with or within listed international companies.
  • Familiarity with the challenges of managing multi-country financial reporting and systems, as well as different cultures.
