BUSINESS ANALYST
Main Purpose of Job
The Business Analyst will be the bridge between operations and finance through identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that drive the strategic goals of the company.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that will facilitate working with customers, clients, co-workers, and management;
* Research requirements for data requests to provide the required functionality of each request, e.g. data extract, report, dashboard, etc.;
* Design report layouts that provide a user-friendly experience;
* Modify existing reports to meet new requirements by the end users;
* Analyse performance of each report or query and implement proper optimization techniques;
* Decide the best use of available technologies to complete a variety of assigned tasks;
* Use advanced research and statistical methods to conduct comprehensive analyses on the data collected from various operational processes;
* Establish and maintain multiple databases ;
* Respond to data requests from multiple departments.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounts or a related field Related Experience ;
* 3+ years of working experience in an Information Technology or Finance role
* Proficiency in MS SQL Server;
* Proficiency in Reporting;
* Advanced knowledge of Excel;
* Good knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI or any dash boarding tool;
* Proven ability to manage and conduct data analysis, extrapolate and integrate the data, draw conclusions, and provide clear, concise, actionable information;
* Complete projects that require data mining, analysis, and presentation;
* Detail oriented, with exceptional organizational skills;
* Demonstrated ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner;
* Ability to meet tight deadlines;
* Finance or accounting experience would be an asset;
