Treasury Manager

Robert Half are working with leading retail bank based in the West Midlands, looking to appoint a Senior Treasury Manager.The Senior Treasury Manager will be main point of contact for specialist Treasury and technical accounting processes. Supporting the integrity of financial and regulatory reporting, driving insight, and improving decision making.Key Responsibilities: Acting as the subject matter expert for specialist and potentially complex technical Treasury related matters, including hedge accounting, regulatory reporting, interpretation of accounting standards and/or financial modelling.Safeguarding the business's understanding of these areasUndertaking a leading role in the production of key financial documents such as the annual report and accounts; budgets and forecasts; and the ICAAP.Undertaking analysis, including involving complex modelling to support financial reporting or business decision making.Operate as a business partner, using technical expertise and insight to support and challenge the teamDealing with complex and technical queries relating to financial information.Coaching and training other Finance employees, including qualified accountants.Candidate Profile:Accounting qualification (ACCA / ACA / CIMA).Qualified AMCT desirable.Extensive FS experience.Experience of forecasting and analysisKnowledge of liquidity, interest risk and hedging.Excellent data modelling and excel skills.Proactive in bringing new ideas and improvements to the business area.Confident in providing support and challenge to senior stakeholders.Competitive salary and benefits on offerRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
