Financial Accountant

Robert Walters are currently partnered with a Global brand as they look to recruit a Financial Accountant who will use their finance expertise to run this key division. Leading a team of 2 this role is pivotal position for a key area of the company taking ownership of the division accounts and working closely with internal stakeholders such as Shared Services, Group Finance and Commercial team

Key responsibilities

Execution, review and approval of Record to Report transactions and reports. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and also review those prepared by direct reports Responsible for timely completion of compliance tasks associated with entities accountable Responsible and accountable for the end-to-end solution and performance of an integrated set of EMEIA processes Ensure compliance with the Group Policies, including operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting. Contributes to and makes authoritative recommendations on how the EMEIA entities processes are to be structured and what services will be delivered to stakeholders; taking transformation projects to completion by overseeing the change and its implementation. Ensures that Group Finance, Tax, Commercial Finance, Operations and business goals and performance objectives are reflected and achieved in the process improvement projects and operations of the end-to-end process. Consolidate systems and processes

The successful candidate will be qualified accountant ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA with a proven technical background with exposure to FTSE company applying IFRS or local accounting GAAP knowledge. Exposure to working within multicurrency environment analysing and understand exchange rates would be beneficial.
