Reporting to the Management Accountant, your role will involve a mix of both Statutory Reporting and Management Accounts.

My client are a well-established manufacturing business. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the team based in Uckfield.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Production of the monthly management accounts
- Assisting in the year and half year end procedures
- Assisting in the annual budgeting process
- Involvement in other areas including rebates, bank payments, VAT returns and Fixed Asset processing.
- Assisting in the quarterly forecasting process
- Production and analysis of logistical and cost models
- Ad hoc projects as required by the business
Profile
To be successful in your application for Assistant Accountant, you should have/be:
- Significant experience working in a Finance role
- Currently studying a Finance qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
- Excellent communication skills
- Very competent user of all Microsoft Office, especially Excel
