My client is one of the UK's leading business services organisations. They are going through a period of change and are looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen the team.

Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join this large business services business on an interim basis.

Reporting the the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the day to day management of a large finance team (c20).

The business is supported by an oversees SSC so the role will be focused on a few key areas.

1 - Ensuring that strong Governance is in place throughout the Finance department as well as solid robust Financial Controls.

2 - Being commercial focused to analyse new deals/contracts that come into the business.

Profile

You will be a qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA

You will have excellent Financial leadership experience in large multi faceted businesses.

You will have strong financial controls experience and can demonstrate strong governance skills

You will be commercially astute and have experience of analysing deals/contracts

Strong systems skills including excel.

Job Offer

An initial 3 - 6 month temporary assignment

Salary negotiable on the £350 - £450 per day range (PAYE or Umbrella company)

Hybrid working (currently home based)
