As a part of our Accountant – Operations Analyst Programme, you’ll have the opportunity to blend your interests in accountancy and the financial markets.  Here, you’ll learn our business by participating in it, rotating through business teams that include Finance, Trade Desk Support, Risk Operations, and more.  You’ll sit side by side with traders, learning every facet of how each desk is supported operationally. You’ll learn how to calculate and reconcile profit and loss. You’ll see the flow of our business – from the trades themselves to their settlement and reconciliation.

Beyond the desk, you’ll participate in classroom training, learning about all of the different aspects of our business, and the tools and systems that make it all happen.  You’ll learn tools like VBA, Python, and SQL, and then put them into practice as you take on projects, right from the start, that automate and improve processes within your role and within your team too.  And you’ll have the opportunity to build insights and knowledge through a network of team members, managers, and senior managers who are eager to provide mentorship, guidance, and insights that support your overall career growth.

Upon completing the programme, you’ll be placed within our Finance team, where you’ll have the opportunity to leverage the business knowledge you gained through your classroom and rotational training as you prepare and reconcile financial statements and general ledgers for entities you’re managing, including monthly and annual consolidated financial and regulatory reporting.

  • 3rd level degree – Accounting or Finance focused
  • Passion for accounting as a career choice
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Exposure to MS Access
  • Knowledge of, and an interest in, financial markets
  • Experience with VBA/SQL an advantage, Python a plus.
  • Relevant internship or experience working in an accountancy role is a plus
