Finance Analyst

The client are a global retail brand that have a head office in North West London (Camden). They are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis to help manage the increased demand for reporting and commercial analysis.

The client are a high-end retail brand that have a global presence. They have a large e-commerce side, and have number of stores across the UK and the world. The successful Finance Analyst will be joining the Commercial Reporting team, which is currently made up of 3 people, giving them exposure to a number of different responsibilities. They are looking for someone to join on a permanent basis.

Description

The successful Finance Analyst will:

• Daily and weekly sales and margin reporting, including sales reconciliations and like-for-like reporting
• Weekly payroll reporting
• KPI and sell-through reporting
• Continuous improvement of both the preparation and presentation of reporting requirements
• Calculation of store targets
• Assistance with group budgeting and forecasting
• Ad-hoc reporting and analysis

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• 1-3 years experience in a similar role
• This is a small team and you therefore need to be a collaborative team player, and have a personable and confident approach.
• The candidate will be studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification, looking to gain commercial exposure within a high profile, international fashion business.
• Retail experience preferred but not essential.
• Highly analytical; be able to analyse large amounts of data and generate meaningful insights.
• Advanced Excel user; good knowledge of formulae and manipulation of data.
• Attention to detail whilst also being able to see the bigger picture.
• Can challenge the status quoquo and propose solutions.

Job Offer

• £30,000 - £35,000 (Can be flexible)
