The Financial Controller - Industrial Manufacturing will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, coordinating auditing processes and ensuring organizational financial stability.

Description

The role Financial Controller - Industrial Manufacturing will have the following main responsibilities:

· Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all units
· Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, and treasury
· Develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial records and reports for the executive management
· Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals
· Manage commercial banking relationships to facilitate an appropriate credit resource under highly competitive terms
· Interface with outside audit firms, banks and lessors, casualty/liability insurance agent(s), and collection agencies
· Ensure that effective internal controls are in place
· Ensure compliance with Philippine Accounting Standards and applicable regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
· Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary

Profile

The successful candidate to assume the Financial Controller - Industrial Manufacturing position will have the following qualifications:

· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance / Accountancy
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
· Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Business Administration / Finance is highly desirable
· 20 years of solid working experience in manufacturing and production industry with progressive responsibility in finance and accounting and as a people manager
· Required Skills: General Accounting, Corporate Finance, strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills, high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation, effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently as a leader and as a team member, must be able to engage with f all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgement
· Able to travel within the Philippines whenever necessary and permitted
· Able to be based in the Head Office, BGC, Taguig City
