The EMEA Global Spread Products (GSP) Middle Office is looking for a lead Risk & Controls, Regulatory and Operational Efficiency Manager to support and lead on project and audit work within the team.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the coordination of all audits (internal and external) in which the EMEA GSP MO team is involved
• Serve as a principal point of contact for maintaining the group's Global Risk and Controls repository
• Manage the group's technology book of work - liaising with key delivery partners and ensuring effective prioritisation and central coordination of UAT efforts
• Represent the group on all regulatory forums and take primary responsibility for actions and takeaways
• Stay abreast of developments within the firm's various innovation groups and champion the analysis and viability of implementation within own group
• Manage the generation of various MIS decks which the team is responsible for producing
• Serve as the key regional contact to the group's global Risk & Controls lead

This is a varied and challenging role, which will suit an individual who is self-motivated, eager to develop an in-depth knowledge of the GSP business and is looking for a new challenge. This team is the main point of contact for the trading and sales desks for risk issues and trade queries. Understanding and keeping up to date with the BAU activities of the team will be essential in being successful in this role.

Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in a related role
  • Subject Matter Expert in one or more specific skill sets, business areas or products
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
