The ROH continues to lead the way in opera, ballet, music and dance both live on stage and through multiple digital platforms, from live streaming to worldwide cinema screenings. As a charity we could not plan for our next programme of artistic work, or our community and outreach projects, without the support of our philanthropists and members.
The Development and Enterprises Department is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their Finance team on a permanent basis. Your work will support the activities of the team in delivering essential accounting services and make a contribution to our fundraising targets.

The ideal candidate will have these qualities:
- Full or part-qualified accountant, studying for CIMA or ACCA or similar, or qualified by experience (QBE) route, with substantial accounting experience in a progressive and tightly managed medium to large sized business or charity
- High level of competency in Excel, Word, and computerised accounting systems with an aptitude for learning new systems and ability to become fluent in SUN
- Ability to understand VAT and donation tax issues associated with a Charity
- Strong organizational skills and able to prioritise and deliver high quality work to deadlines with minimal supervision
- High standard of written and verbal English, numerate and analytical, with attention to detail
- Commitment to managing own learning and continuous professional development relevant to the role
