Job Description
Senior Group Accountant // £350 - £450 per day // 6 months+
A great opportunity has arisen to join a high performing team within the media and entertainment space, with considerable scope for learning and career progression. Sitting within a wider group team who cover statutory accounting, technical accounting support, SOX controls, you will be a key figure within the team for the next 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Support consolidation of the EMEA and International Quarterly Rep Letters Annual training and coaching of internal SOX Controls testing team. Producing month-end, statutory and regulatory reports Assisting with audit processes Managing intercompany balances Generating consolidated monthly accounts Analysis of Group's associates and trade investments Review and analysis of Group's intercompany interest transactions Analysis of Group tax and interest paid for cash flow purposes Review of Group working capital Identify and drive areas of improvement within current processes
Key Requirements:
Big 4 or Top 10 ACA preferred Newly qualified or 1st/2nd mover Strong technical accounting background Keen interest in the media sector
