Are you a professionally qualified accountant with a proven track record in a lead finance role?
Have you successfully transformed Finance & IT functions within an FMCG Business?
Are you able to work outside the finance box and contribute to wider strategic & operational matters?
MacGregor Black are partnering with a FMCG Distributor on the search for a Head of Finance & IT who will form a key part of the Senior Leadership Team. This is a permanent role based in London.
The Head of Finance & IT
will develop the finance and IT functions so that accurate accounting and high-quality reporting can be used in supporting strategy formulation, decision-making and implementation. This role will take the finance and IT functionsto the next level.
Key Responsibilities:
Sets financial targets for the company, owns and manages the business/financial planning process. Drives the enhancement of the finance function, ensuring a solid control framework is in place and maintained, whilst
implementing/delivering
cost controls and efficiency improvements Maximises cash flow and provides initiatives for improvement Develops and embeds fit-for-purpose financial governance and controls across the business including financial reporting to the relevant standards: management and statutory accounts and regulatory compliance Supports a mindset of cost awareness, efficiency improvement, risk management and predictability Provides appropriate challenge, scrutiny and support to the Senior Leadership team and implements fit-for-purpose finance partnering to each of the functions Drives the cultural change and performance improvement agenda across the business with the goal of improving the quality of support delivered both in terms of strategic development, business plan delivery and cost efficiency
What are we looking for?
Qualified accountant: ACCA,CIMA,ACA Distribution / FMCG experience. Works closely with the Senior Leadership team as well as other colleagues to engender a positive, open, accountable culture within the business Brings an objective view on significant commercial developments and ventures
