Job Description
Due to the development of the business we are looking to recruit an experienced Auditor and Accountant to join our Team.
This role would be ideal for someone that is currently an Audit Senior looking to take the next step in their career to becoming a Manager in the near future, or someone already working as a Junior or Assistant Manager.
Duties will include:
working directly with the directors, managing a portfolio of clients planning and executing Audit assignments (c. 5-6 per year), supervising more junior staff members preparation of year-end statutory accounts in compliance with FRS 102 and FRS 102 Section 1A preparation of corporation tax returns dealing with clients as a point of first contact reviewing work performed by more junior members of staff
Certainly in the initial phases of this role the ideal candidate should be happy to be involved in all aspects of the work, ultimately transitioning to becoming a full Accounts and Audit Manager in due course.
The ideal candidate should:
be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent have Audit experience from planning through to completion and leading other members of staff in their work have excellent communication skills with the ability to deal directly with clients and engage with other team members be keen to help the firm continue on its development path and build and expand the business
The firm uses the IRIS suite of products for its accounts and tax work and MyWorkpapers and Mercia for its audit and working paper file maintenance. Experience of these products would be considered an advantage but not essential.
