Finance Analyst - Contract placement

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the MFRS17 project team to ensure the project progress meets all the deadlines.
Work out the double entries (posting rule) for MFRS17 and refine MFRS17 accounting policies.
Perform expense study/cost allocation and chart of account mapping to ensure all required new chart of accounts of MFRS17 are identified.
Prepare the template of financial statement that are in compliance with MFRS17Evaluate, understand and build Business Data Requirement, and convert to user requirement for system enhancement.
Develop UAT pack from sub-ledger to GL including testing scenario, provide requirement during testing phase and provide support in testing output from sub-ledger to GL.
Reconciliation between MFRS4 vs. MFRS17.
Identify & recommend on system and process enhancement to existing processes.
Provide MFRS17 training to respective stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree - Bachelors' degree or equivalent, in Finance or any related discipline.
Qualified Chartered Accountant preferred (MI, ACCA, CPA, MICPA or ICAEW).
Minimum of 5 years' working experience in financial institutions (Banking or Insurance)
Technically sound on MFRS17 and experienced in consulting or implementing on MFRS17 project.
Experience in financial and management reporting.
Minimum of 5 years' working experience in financial institutions (Banking or Insurance).
Technically sound on MFRS17 and experienced in consulting or implementing on MFRS17 project.
Experience in financial and management reporting Knowledge of business analysis tool added advantage.
Contract placement for 1 year.
