Macro Analyst (Mgr/AVP), Balance Sheet Management - Corporate Treasury, Group Finance
Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the Balance Sheet Management team within Corporate Treasury. Corporate Treasury a dedicated strategic management unit, within the CFO office, that supports senior management committees in ensuring optimal financial resource allocation, adequate capital and liquidity supply to meet business demands, and financial resilience.
You will assess the impact of the external environment on the Bank's balance sheet and recommend the appropriate strategies over a medium-long term horizon. You will be interacting with internal stakeholders across the Group, and may also be presenting macro strategies to the Group's Asset and Liability Committee. There will be opportunities to develop new initiatives and participate in cross functional projects.

The candidate will report to the Head of Balance Sheet Management, Corporate Treasury.

Roles and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Monitor macro, industry competition and regulatory developments;
- Assess their impact on the balance sheet;
- Propose the appropriate macro strategies for the balance sheet, including the management of Structural FX and Interest rate exposures;
- Ensure that hedging strategies are in accordance with approved mandate and allocated risk limits,
- Prepare and deliver presentations to various stakeholders eg internal briefings, for the Group's Asset and Liability Committee meetings.

Requirements
- Keen interest in financial markets, investments and strategic balance sheet management.
- Driven and passionate towards achieving success
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Prepare effective Powerpoint presentations and proficient in Excel
- Good academic qualifications
- 3-6 years of experience in a banking/investment/markets, preferably as an analyst
The candidate will report to the Head of Balance Sheet Management, Corporate Treasury.
