Job Description
Your role
As a Chief Accountant you will manage all accounting processes in the Studio, ensure the company observes all legal accounting & tax requirements, prepare monthly payroll, supervise the accuracy of the accounting entries, perform monthly closings and prepare annual financial statements. You will work in team with the Financial Planning Manager, Cost Controller and Accountant.
Your daily adventure
MANAGE ALL ACCOUNTING PROCEDURES
related to the company business processes (statutory bookkeeping, accounting reconciliation)
SUPERVISE THE ACCURACY OF GENERAL LEDGER ENTRIES
and accounting classifications
PREPARE MONTHLY PAYROLL
Ensure timely payment of salaries and social insurance
Submit declarations 1 & 6
Support employees on payroll & personal taxation topics
PREPARE AND SUBMIT
tax returns (VAT/WHT/CIT, etc.), statistical reports, statutory filings, Intrastat, annual tax declaration and other legally required declarations
Arrange payments to suppliers
PREPARE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
and accounting reports according to national accounting standards, IFRS, legal and financial regulations.
DELIVER ACCURATE MONTHLY ACCOUNTING REPORTS
for Local & Group purposes (PL, BS, etc.)
BE INFORMED AND COMPLY
with up-to date local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
CONSULT THE MANAGEMENT
on fiscal and accounting cases to support management decisions
FOLLOW UP COMPANY ASSETS BOOKKEEPING
in AJUR and organizes annual inventory process
EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE
with government institutions, external auditors, etc.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE
3-5 years as Senior/Chief Accountant, preferably in a multinational environment
3-4 years experience in payroll preparation
Experience in working with accounting, payroll software, and ERP systems (Peoplesoft and OMEKS are an advantage)
KNOWLEDGE
Master's degree in finance or accounting
Excellent knowledge of local accounting legislation, tax regulations and IFRS
Advanced skills with MS Excel/MS Office
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
and ability to observe strict to deadlines
ETHICAL AND SELF-ORGANIZED
Responsible and pro-active person
COMMUNICATION SKLLS
Collaborate effectively with other team members
Very good command of English
