Due to a period of growth an outstanding opportunity now exists for a top calibre and suitably experienced Technical Manager for External Reporting.

The Manager for External Reporting will be a key advisor to the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer the role will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating the production of all external reporting obligations, provide technical accounting advice to the leadership team, manage the internal audit function and manage the corporate governance framework.

The Manager for external reporting will oversee an experienced young motivated finance team and will be expected to mentor and further develop a high-performance finance function, focused on driving continuous improvement across the Group.

The successful candidate for this position will be expected to deliver the following:

  • Coordination and preparation of all statutory reporting requirements including annual reports, half year reports, quarterly reports , ASX required reporting
  • Lead the half year review and annual financial year audits including statutory audits and reporting of subsidiaries across SE Asia, including preparation of technical papers
  • Management of the month-end financial reporting process including consolidation, cash flow statements and review of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assessment and implementation of new accounting standards
  • Preparation/review of Audit & Risk Committee and certain Board papers
  • Play a lead role in implementing Systems for financial & operational control and efficiencies
  • Ensure strong hands-on financial controls and appropriate processes and procedures are in place across the business
  • Ad hoc technical assistance to the business including financial due diligence reviews on potential targets
  • Interact frequently and effectively with the senior leadership team to deliver key financial results.
  • Prepare the annual Internal Audit Plan for the organisation and manage the delivery in accordance with the plan
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders


We require a suitable qualified individual (CA/CPA) with prior experience in a financial leadership position within a relevant setting. This applicant will require strong technical expertise and high attention to detail, coupled with a track record of building high performance teams which add value to the organisation. The candidate will have the ability to operate autonomously, communicate effectively and juggle multiple priorities. The role demands a highly motivated, engaging and outcome orientated individual.
