The Finance Services Accounting & Reporting team have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager.
As the Finance Manager, you will work collaboratively with the Project Accounting & Reporting Manager delivering the project accounting & reporting for the Property Australia business. This includes delivering all aspects of project accounting and reporting activities as well as the preparation of other necessary reports to ensure timely, accurate, efficient and informed reporting.
This role is a key business partner to our Property business, supervising the day to day Financial Accounting and Reporting team and activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial and external reporting requirements as well as providing technical guidance an advice where necessary. Manage the implementation of changes and enhancements to systems and processes. Identify and report continuous improvement initiatives in relation to the project accounting processes and systems and providing strong leadership to coach, develop and mentor a finance team is pivotal for this role. In addition, your role will see you collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, creating as well as maintaining effective working relationships to increase networks and allow for knowledge sharing.
To be successful in this role, CA/CPA qualifications, or equivalent, will be essential as well as strong excel/system skills and demonstrated experience in managing projects and project accounting and reporting.
A confident self-starter you possess the ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives. You have strong communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to make the complex simple in pursuit of clear deliverables. Your personal qualities will include a tenacious and positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to build excellent rapport with colleagues and stakeholders alike.
