PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare financial accounts for reviewing by CFO
- Statutory returns, FBT, Payroll Tax, Group Tax, Stamp Duty, ASIC
- Prepare and lodge monthly/ quarterly BAS reports for the group
- Prepare monthly Director reports and agendas
- Supervise Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Prepare weekly and six monthly cash flow projections
- Control all aspects of intercompany loan accounts
- Participate in the coordination of internal and external audits including liaison on audit issues
- Keep abreast and maintain a high level of understanding of relevant financial legislation including, tax accounting regulations and other relevant legislation
- Prepare objections for Land Tax and stamp duty queries
- Liaising with external lawyers regarding ATO audits and statutory demands
ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
- Must have the experience of using MYOB accounting software
- Proficiency with Microsoft OS, particularly advanced Excel skills
- Ability to take on a variety of tasks and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with a variety of internal/external stakeholders
- An honest and reliable work ethic
