  • Assisting in formulating budgetary and accounting policies
  • To post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

  • Reviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy

  • To summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
  • To produce payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product.
  • To complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors.
  • Assisting with financial and tax audits
  • Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing team
  • Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
  • To avoid legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
