- To maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
- To summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
- To produce payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, verifying finished product.
- To complete external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors.
- Assisting with financial and tax audits
- Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing team
- Coordinating more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
- To avoid legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
