About The Role
Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008 OR 242 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000
Role Type: 12 to 24 Month Fixed Term
ANZ is seeking multiple versatile and delivery-focused candidates interested in joining a fast-moving program of work with the Financial Crime Portfolio. We are seeking:
  • Subject Matter Experts in Financial Crime Risk Management, and
  • Business Analysts with experience delivering change in Financial Services.
A large range of roles at various experience levels available.
In these roles you will work as part of teams aiming to ensure oversight, processes, controls, assurance practices, systems and data quality are fit to fulfil financial crime obligations, with a focus on workstreams including:
  • Anti-Money Laundering Program and Governance
  • Money Laundering/Terrorism Financing Risk Assessments
  • Enhanced Customer Due Diligence
  • Coverage Assessments and Transaction Monitoring.
Key tasks associated with these roles may include:
  • Analysis, such as detailed gap analysis of current practice against compliance requirements, to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Planning, prioritization and project management including contributing to developing and maintaining project plans/schedules, effective and efficient delivery and managing project risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Stakeholder engagement, ensuring the close engagement of project stakeholders across Risk, Divisions and project sponsors/senior staff. This includes the preparation of information for senior Committee reporting.
  • Technical Writing, such as developing policy, processes, training, system requirements or other material.
  • Delivery and Change Management, working within the Delivery Framework to design and deliver change.
  • Facilitating collaboration as part of a high-performing team.
These roles will support Workstream Leads as well as Workstream Project Managers, and will engage and work with multiple stakeholders to plan and deliver compliance outcomes, manage project delivery risks, issues, and dependencies, and contribute to driving delivery of high performance outputs against the schedule.
About You
Ideal candidates would be either Financial Crime Subject Matter Experts, preferably with deep experience in one of the Workstream areas identified above, or Business Analysts with strong project experience in financial services or highly regulated environments. An understanding of project methodology and governance would also be highly regarded as it would contribute to the smooth running of the Workstreams.
