This growing Australian company is looking for a corporate Assistant Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This newly created role will be based in Brisbane City, their office is conveniently located close to public transport and to a variety of cafes, shops and restaurants.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Accounts Payable processing
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month end processing including general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing financial reports
- Intercompany accounting
- Assisting with preparation and lodging monthly BAS statements
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Completed Degree and have ideally commenced your CPA or CA studies
- Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
