Description

The Assistant Accountant role is initially a temporary role which could be extended. You will have the opportunity to be mentored and trained by one of the Finance Managers with opportunities for career progression as a result. The role will be office based in Macclesfield.

The role is varied and challenging with key duties including:

Assisting with preparation of Monthly Management Accounts

Balance sheet reconciliation

Variance analysis

Posting journals

Accruals/Prepayments

Vat returns

Fixed assets

Bank reconciliation

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

Be an Accountancy & Finance Graduate/ AAT Level 3/4 studier or be Qualified by experience

Understand Balance sheet reconciliation

Be available to consider a temporary contract initially

Be able to work in a covid secure office environment in Macclesfield
