Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be part of a dedicated finance team with varied financial and reporting responsibilities for small to medium size legal entities in Australian and New Zealand.
- Completing monthly general ledger reconciliation including journals for accruals, adjustments, etc.
- Maintenance of fixed asset register and monitor capex spend.
- Monthly financial reporting and variance analysis to agreed deadlines (reporting on Day 4).
- Complete monthly, quarterly and year end reporting in Cognos and TM1.
- Preparation of cash flow forecasts and treasury management.
- Preparation of yearly budget with close collaboration with finance business partner.
- Preparation and lodgment BAS, PAYG and assisting tax accountants for FBT and Income tax.
- Assisting external auditors on year end audits and providing information for statutory accounts preparation.
- Supervise and management of expense claims using Concur expense management tool.
- Liaise with transaction processing team - A/R, A/P, Purchasing and payroll.
- Ensure financial practices are line with company policy and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
As an important role within the Eurofins Finance Team, the following selection criteria are essential for success:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting.
- 5 + years Accounting experience.
- Post degree qualification (CPA) or near completion is essential.
- Practice as well as Industry experience preferred.
- MYOB Advanced experience preferable.
- Very accurate and high level of numeracy capability.
- Hands on attitude, willing to help with a wide variety of tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork ethic as well as able to work in autonomy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders.
