The opportunity

We are looking for Data Assurance Specialists ideally with experience in banking, wealth, super or insurance to join our Data and Analytics team across Sydney and Melbourne at Senior Consultant, Manager and Senior Manager levels.

EY DnA is the data and advanced analytics capability within EY Asia-Pacific, with over 500 specialist employees working across multiple industry sectors.

We implement information-driven strategies and systems that help grow, optimize and protect client organizations.

We go beyond strategy and provide end to end implementation of real-life data environments and have some of the best architects, project managers, business analysts, data scientists, big data engineers, developers and consultants in the region.

Your key responsibilities
  • Create project plans for data migration and separation process, including mapping risks and potential impacts
  • Create framework and guidelines for treatment of data
  • Facilitate workshops with business and technology teams to gather business rules for data assurance services
  • Work closely with the data assurance platform team to implement and execute data assurance rules
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across clients and internal EY service lines
  • Collaborate across various internal as well as client teams to stay aligned on program updates and make informed decisions on project activities
  • Present and obtain endorsement for relevant artefacts by business and technology stakeholders
  • Assure data to be migrated using various different techniques
  • Obtain endorsement from the business on completed assurance activities

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have
  • Strong business and data analysis skills
  • Strong workshop facilitation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with senior internal and client stakeholders
  • Data migration experience
  • Experience working with offshore teams
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL, Microsoft applications (e.g Excel, MS Project)

Ideally, you'll also have
  • Data migration experience specific to divestments
  • Insurance, Wealth and Superannuation experience, and an understanding of assurance concepts and processes
  • Data quality and profiling, and data reconciliation experience
  • Experience working with Agile teams and experience working with multiple BI and database technologies will be beneficial

The preferred applicant will be subject to employment screening by EY or by their external third-party provider. Regarding this role, the minimum salary is $90,000 including 9.5% superannuation.
