A well known business, based in South Staffordshire are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team.
Description
As an Assistant Accountant, you will report into the Finance Manager, responsible for assisting with the monthly production of accounts and analysis.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Balance Sheet reconciliations; processing journals including prepayments and accruals; maintaining the fixed asset register; bank reconciliations; VAT returns.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA - Essential
- Have recent knowledge of working in a varied finance role - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
