We are supporting our client to recruit a Assistant Accountant to provide support to the UK Business. On a day to day basis you will provide support the accounting team and more specifically the Management Accountant.

The client is a global manufacturing & technology company who provides smart technical parts and solutions in the forms of managed services or singular products.
Description
As the Assistant Accountant you will:
- Perform sales and purchase invoicing
- Payment processing and administration
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts in line with the relevant accounting policies
- Month end prepayment and accrual calculations
- Preparing journals for review
- Assist in the production of balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variance
- Undertake financial analysis and production of supporting financial and non-financial reports
- Liaising with other Group Finance functions to ensure accuracy and completeness in reporting
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Experience with a Finance department
- Studying towards an Accountancy qualification i.e. ACCA, CIMA or AAT
- Have experience of large integrated ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc)
- Knowledge of UK Accounting regulations
