Stevens & Lee, a multi–office professional services firm, seeks a full–time experienced Finance Analyst at our corporate location in Reading, PA. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will support the Finance Department by developing, collecting, processing and maintaining financial data for analysis, management control and forecasting purposes. You will be expected to leverage knowledge and experience in generally accepted accounting and finance processes and work cross–functionally. This is an in–person support position; telework is not an option.
Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Mathematics plus 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Advance Microsoft Office skills, specifically with complex Excel formulas and models and superior analytical and quantitative skills is a must, along with proficiency using PowerPoint presentations.
Some key functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
?? Generate regular weekly/monthly reports on financial metrics (e.g. billable time, revenue, etc.);
?? Create new financial reports/analyses as needed and periodically track metrics;
?? Prepare/compile financial information and create executive summaries of same;
?? Prepare invoices for payment to 1099 professionals; report on/track their billable time;
?? Coordinate with Government Affairs Unit to compile reports on lobbying expenditures;
?? Track financial data related to specific groups or individuals over time to assess performance;
?? Create/maintain database(s) of financial data for use in reporting/analysis;
?? Assist in creation/editing of presentations on Firm operations and financial performance;
?? Process requests for/interpret findings of research on potential clients and other relevant subjects (e.g. D&B reports);
