Michael Page are recruiting for a 12 month Corporate Financial Planning Manager to join a Public Sector organisation primarily based in Barnsley

Client Details

The client is a large, well known Public Sector organisation based in Barnsley. They are looking for a Corporate Financial Planning Manager to join their established Finance team on a 12 month contract. If required they can look at remote working, but the preference would be for someone who could get to Barnsley for a day a week. They offer a very competitive benefits package including an excellent holiday and pension allowance.

Description

As a Corporate Financial Planning Manager, duties will include but are not limited to, coordinating and planning the annual model update process, reviewing model inputs key principles and model outputs, supporting with designing and implementing of the costing model, coordinating financial modelling scenarios, overseeing the annual and monthly costing processes, managing 1 member of staff, coordinating the financial modelling and scenario planning for new services, developing and improving costing processes, dealing with queries and any other ad hoc duties.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have extensive knowledge of costing, modelling and systems accounting ESSENTIAL
• Be fully Qualified or QBE ESSENTIAL
• Be able to transfer information onto a new system ESSENTIAL
• Be confident using Excel and general ledger systems ESSENTIAL

Job Offer

£45,000- £48,000 + Corporate Financial Planning Manager + Fixed Term Contract + Competitive pension and holiday allowance
