We're now hiring for a Junior Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a fast paced environment, so you will need strong attention to detail and the ability to work logically and independently to complete tasks. This role presents a great opportunity to work closely with the Production team and other departments, providing the opportunity to learn.

Job Role
Reporting to Financial Controller, the Junior Management Accountant will be responsible for:
- Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts- including posting month end accruals, prepayments and other month end journals- in a timely fashion and within given deadlines.
- Responsible for completing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Business partnering- primarily with the production department tracking and reporting project spend, but also working collaboratively with the other departments across the business.
- Preparation and distribution of quarterly royalty statements.
- Submission of quarterly group VAT return.
- Submission of other ad hoc statutory information, e.g. ONS.
- Being actively involved in the year end and interim audits.
- Implementation and improvement of financial controls across the business.
- Supporting the FC on ad hoc projects and tasks.
This role is primarily based in Curve's London headquarters but we are currently working remotely.
What we want from you:
- Experienced Accounts Assistant, preferably with some management accounts exposure.
- Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or interested in studying for a qualification.
- Educated to degree-level.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail- this is essential.
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior management and other stakeholders.
- Must have the ability to manage own tasks and use initiative.
- Desire to progress and commitment to continuous self-improvement.
- Strong systems skills, Excel, SAP, Powerpoint.
