Ford Motor Company is a global automotive industry leader and the UK is one of our most important markets - we employ over 6,000 team members here and have been market leader for over 40 years. The Ford Britain Dunton Campus in Essex is home to our Commercial Vehicle business, the Ford of Britain sales company, Product Development for our Transit range, and Ford Credit Europe.

We are Europe's No. 1 bestselling Commercial Vehicle brand and are focused on the future - our entire range will be zero-emissions capable by 2024 and already 500,000 connected Ford commercial vehicles are operating on Europe's roads.

An exciting opportunity exists to join our Ford Finance Team as a Finance Analyst. As a member of the Ford Finance team, you'll be responsible for a lot more than just crunching numbers - we work collaboratively supporting our operational partners across the business. We are hiring future leaders into finance roles supporting our UK-based Commercial Vehicle team - you have the opportunity to be placed into a Product Development Finance, Vehicle Costing, Financial Accounting or Marketing and Sales Finance role.

  • Build close working relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders - being trusted to both provide sound advice, and to challenge
  • Use analytical methods and financial modelling to help guide, inform and influence operational decision making
  • Be close to our products and services, developing business cases for commercial actions and ad-hoc studies
  • Drive process improvement and simplification
  • Work within a strong Internal Control environment proactively managing business risk
  • Prepare standard and non-standard reporting with insightful commentary for both finance and non-finance customers
  • Grow and develop your skills through working across a wide range of areas in our business

Qualifications, Skills and Experiences

  • 2.1 or higher degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or similar discipline with a clear analytical bias
  • 1-4 years' subsequent experience in either a finance analyst or commercial role
  • Working towards, or ready to start, a professional accreditation such as CIMA
  • Be comfortable in dealing with large volumes of data - and have experience in data analytics
  • A self-starter with a commercial mindset, who is happy working in teams, and independently

Working at Ford

  • We're currently working from home to minimise face to face contact in the office. Whilst the role is based in Dunton, Essex, we are moving to a hybrid working arrangement, meaning there will be a combination of office collaboration and non-office working
  • We pride ourselves on being a flexible employer. We will consider applications for flexible work arrangements, either at the outset of your career or later as needs arise
  • We believe your development is important; we support both professional and personal development including mentoring from current leaders and CIMA
