Financial Accountant | Adtech | ACA | Central London

Harmonic are proud to be working with one of the UK's most well renowned Advertising Technology businesses in the UK in their search for a Financial Accountant.
They are based in central London, and you will be joining a mid-large sized international finance team. They are a non-corporate, exceptionally friendly, and ambitious team looking to strengthen their finance function.
The business has realised there are some key areas of general compliance which need addressing and are looking to centralise this function so that they are reflective of the current environment; lean, efficient, and streamlined. As a result they are looking for an ACCA/ACA qualified accountant interested in joining a scaling company where you will get to make an extensive amount of consequential changes for the business, many in the short-midterm.
The Role:
Duties
· Assist with the group financial reporting with complex consolidations
· Assist with compliance reporting, corporate tax returns, VAT & payroll taxes
· Managing the SAP system from a control standpoint ensuring it is risk free and compliant with local obligations
· Assist with the maintenance of the group transfer pricing methodology
· Helping the Group Reporting Manager with ad-hoc compliance issues
· Help to drive efficiencies & processes
· Assist with accounting training for the junior team and shared service
· Journals and reconciliations for the monthly management accounts
· Maintain excellent relationships with external auditors and compliance advisors, and assist with the group audit
· Preparing the monthly management accounts
· Preparing cash flow forecasting and doing bank posting & recs
· Perform month end and ad hoc journals
Required Experience
· ACA/ACCA Qualified / audit exp
· Strong technical skills
· Excellent communicator, and a proactive self-starter
Desirable Skills:
· Media / Tech experience
Progression - Continuing down this path will likely lead to a perm opportunity either in a reporting focussed role or potentially in the wider externally focussed role. Given there is a large team in place there are multiple areas to progress into long term.
Covid status - The business has not seen any major impact of covid, they are very open to a continuation of remote work beyond lockdown.
Salary: £53,000 - £57,000 + excellent benefits
Start Date: ASAP (can wait up to 1 months' notice)
