As a Project Accountant, you will work across our group to deliver a range of finance-related projects.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will help to integrate the finance systems from our newly acquired businesses into the group finance system.

What you will be doing:
  • Liaise with our newly acquired businesses to understand their current reporting processes
  • Review our existing finance practices and recommend a consistent set of processes to use going forwards
  • Develop consistent group reporting
  • Support budget preparation activities
  • Use lessons learned to create a methodology for future acquisitions

What we need from you:
  • To be a qualified accountant (with an ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification)
  • Project management experience
  • A track record of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of IT systems
  • A strong understanding of the technicalities of a group structure
  • Intermediate (ideally advanced) MS Excel skills
  • Ideally, you will have experience of system changes or large projects, but this is not essential. Experience with mergers and acquisitions would also be an advantage, as would experience with Xero
