Objectives:
The analyst will provide close support to the M&A Business Manager
Core Responsibilities:
Interact and work with Business Managers / Senior bankers running the Franchise Analyzing internal financial metrics data / wallet analysis Understanding the business / franchise supported and preparing client ready thematic materials Scan the M&A space for new opportunities Maintain proprietary information on M&A trends in Sector/Re
Key Deliverables / Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Preparing performance-based reports and presentations for franchise management to be delivered to senior management and business managers Radar backlog updates & additions Analysis of M&A information as a derivative to other M&A related materials Source M&A information and provide insights on various trends and themes in the market
Skills:
Excel / PPT: Should be equipped with solid /advanced excel functionalities Effective communication skills - both written and verbal Should be inquisitive, proactive and show excellent attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Must be able to work well under pressure and to prioritize workload in order to deliver results to tight deadlines Ability to manage confidential data Analytical skills: To interpret, analyze, summarize and present information Research Skills: To source, read and comprehend information on M&A deals Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word applications Good understanding of Investment Banking and specifically M&A
