Part of the site management team, this role will play a key part in the coordination of multi-country manufacturing and support functions.

The client is an innovative and leading global manufacturer, designing and developing high quality products supplying businesses across UK, Europe & Globally.

Description

The role will be a vital member of the business team, responsible for planning, tracking, analysing and achieving business results, playing a key role in the coordination of multi-country manufacturing and support functions. It will be part of the Site Management Team and contributes to define the tactical plans of the sites in order to deliver financial results in terms of costs control and support to sales.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Inventory reserves and statistical key figures update
  • Adjustments required in order to reflect costs and assets in an accurate manner
  • Performance analysis on costs / assets and check the correctness, reported in P&L and BS of the assigned countries
  • Prepare reports and analysis for the respective countries for different purposes; site management team reviews, global reporting on manufacturing costs, global reporting on costs and auditors documentation
  • Prepares budget and forecast for manufacturing functions
  • Ensure financial validation of productivity projects
  • Works with internal customers to understand and meet their needs
  • Continuously develop the knowledge in the finance function and industry with a strong business acumen
  • Effectively develop strong interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Challenge processes for constant improvement

Profile

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Experience in a similar level role
  • Excellent ability to manage costs / assets for multi-country sites
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel modelling capabilities including working with downloaded SAP and BW/BI data through filters, pivot tables & reference tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyse and summarise complex data
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, pro-actively identifying process and tools improvement
  • Analytical and problem-solving attitude
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with different representatives
  • Travel (20-30%) to sites in UK & Europe
