Accountant - Reporting
Would you like to be part of a small team delivering timely and accurate financial information to both the Europe & International Management Committee and the Air Operating Group? We currently have a vacancy for a Reporting Accountant at our site in Warton.
As a Reporting Accountant, you will play a key role in the consolidation and reporting of Europe and International accounts covering various products, platforms and legal entities.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to join a diverse business area working to cover a number of different sites and locations. You will gain excellent exposure to a variety of key senior leaders and stakeholders inside and outside of the Finance function
Your main responsibilities as a Reporting Accountant will involve:
Providing support to Finance Manager - Reporting, in all aspects of monthly financial reporting to Air including:
Supporting the financial reporting and consolidation of the monthly accounts (Monthly Management Report/Hyperion) with focus on timely and accurate information
Supporting the Europe and International finance teams in completing their accounts and month end process (TM1) - forecasting tool within BAE
Supporting the Half Year and Full Year Statutory Reporting process and provide support to external audit during these periods
Supporting the E&I Balance sheet process and completion of Balance Sheet review packs in preparation for Europe & International Finance Director review
Supporting the E&I Project Salient end to end process including support to the Quarterly Business Review and Contract Business Review packs
Coordinating the Annual Patent Box survey and Office of National Statistics Surveys
Maintaining E&I Top Projects for consistent HFM reporting
Supporting the E&I Integrated Planning Process
Other ad-hoc queries from Air / within the E&I business
Your skills and qualifications:
CIMA, ACA or ACCA - Qualified or Part-qualified
Experience in Reporting and/or Project Accounting roles
Good understanding of accounting standards
Advanced Excel skills

Salary: £38,498
