Main roles & responsibilities:
- Prepare tax filings, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports
- Accurate and timely submission of relevant reports to regulatory authorities
- Communicate with local tax authorities
- Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes
- Offer support and guidance during audits.
- Other ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done
Required qualifications & skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in economics or another relevant field
- GAAP: Romanian Accounting Standards (advance)
- Tax code: Romanian Fiscal Code (advance)
- Work experience: Minimum 2-year experience in similar role (preferable in Big 4 companies)
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Office (advance), preferably experience with SAP
- Language: Romanian (native), English (fluent)
- A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered and multi-tasking environment
- Systematic problem-solver with strong communication skills
- High integrity
