Accountant (2 years contract)

The Company

Our client is in the commodities sector and they are currently seeking to hire an Accountant to join them for 2 years due to additional projects.

The Role


You will be tasked with the full spectrum of day to day accounting function. This includes posting of entries to timely closing of books, preparation of financial statements for financial and management reporting. You will be involved with GST reporting, handling intercompany activities, liaising with auditors, tax agents, and ensuring accounting are in compliance with regulations. You will perform analysis, forecasting and budgeting functions.

Your Profile


The successful incumbent should have a degree in accounting and finance or its equivalent, with ACCA/CA qualifications. He/she should come with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the relevant capacity, have good communications skills, are a team player, have good problem solving skills, can work in fast paced environment and has the ability to work independently. Immediate availability will be advantageous.
