There is now an exciting opportunity for a high potential and hands on finance leader to be part of their team as an Accountant. This is a 1 year contract with opportunities for conversion to permanent.

about the job

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial accounting including monthly closing and reconciliations, timely tax filing, financial and management reporting. You will work closely with the other functional finance teams to ensure effective delivery of GL reporting activities and compliance to statutory standards. You will also conduct monthly P&L analysis, budgeting and forecasting. You will drive best practices in ensuring robust finance framework and processes to strengthen internal controls and compliance and also drive improvements on reporting and systems.

skills and experience required

You should ideally be ACCA or degree qualified with at least 5 years of hands on financial reporting and management reporting experiences. Big 4 candidates can be considered. You are proficient with excel as bulk of the work requires manual adjustment. You are independent, hands on and comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
