Position & Key Accountabilities
AXR is being part of some of the interesting major transformation initiatives programs our clients have either taken or are willing to initiate the programs. We help them build a sustainable future, improve their current processes, systems and provide value to customers, communities, and stakeholders, reduce costs and explore ways to become more efficient.This represents a large cultural shift for the organization including finance processes and IT systems that are being implemented. Within these areas, we are embarking on an ambitious journey that will largely transform us into a lean, modern, and sustainable I organization. This is an exciting phase and will comprise multiple work streams operating in parallel.To ensure the success of the program, we are seeking highly capable, performance-driven and solutions focussed professionals to work with us to deliver the financial management service to our business and clients.
A Financial Accountant is required to join the team of Program and Project Managers to support the implementation of key transformational initiatives. This role will lead a range of projects, to deliver significant benefits across AXR's clients' strategic and operations excellence, divisions through the upgrade of systems and processes.
This role will report to Director with the following key accountabilities:
• Review credit management processes and re-design the processes that are within compliance, mitigates risks, have full control and visibility to the stakeholders on company finances.
• Analyse analyses the financial information needs of organizations and help implement good reporting standards
• Provides advice on financial planning and risk management, and provides management with reports to assist in decision-making.
• Provide insight into cost performance and support the implementation of benchmarking and improvement initiatives.
• Advise on financial reporting standards, best practices.
• Prepare internal financials for the company
• Analyse credit rating of customers and prepare financial reporting.
• Tax reporting and inventory processing
• Collecting and analyzing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates
• Advising on estimates for project funding
• Creating KPI reports
• Preparing quarterly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
• Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
• Conducting internal audits such as wage reviews
Essential:
A degree and experience in the financial field are required to gain a Financial Accountant role. Degrees in the following subjects should be highlighted as particularly advantageous: Accountancy or Finance/ Economics/Mathematics/Business Studies/Management
