The Role:

You will play a critical role in redefining one of the largest sectors of the UK economy and one of the most important consumer experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Cashflow forecasts, reporting and cash management for asset funding structures
  • Corporate cash management processes and development of cashflow forecasts
  • Oversight of mortgage accounting policies
  • Ownership of financial reporting
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
  • Implementation of new accounting system to ensure efficiency
  • Work with department heads to build, analyse and challenge budgets
  • Revenue reconciliation
  • Invoices and supplier management
  • Liaising with auditors and communicating with the audit committee

For this role we are looking for:
  • Chartered Accountant with mortgage industry experience
  • Strong technical accounting skills including IFRS
  • Expertise managing cashflows and reporting for warehouse and securitization structures
  • The expertise and initiative to implement new accounting processes and control
  • The ability to develop reporting and analytical processes to add value to a rapidly growing business
