Accountant Bookkeeper Senior Accountant Sage Payroll
Your new company
A long established well known brand are looking to bring in an all encompassing finance professional into the business supported by a firm of accountants for month and year end.
This business is a very much a busy all hand on deck type of role but naturally very rewarding.
This position is working autonomously and handling everything from PL to management reporting including payroll , credit control and VAT. You will have full control of the procedures and processes supported by a very reputable chartered firm of accountant should you need them.
Sage experience is a must
Your new role
* Responsibility and control of Sales & Purchase Ledger
* Managing bank, daily cash & petty cash including all reconciliations and discrepancies investigations
* Preparation and processing of payment run
* Creating and regularly updating cash flow
* Cost centre analysis across all the departments
* Preparation of all detail for the monthly management accounts
o Asset purchases
o Stock
* VAT returns
* Preparation of annual accounts and liaising with the external accountants
* Maintaining fixed asset schedule, stock control and highlighting issues
* Identifying opportunities to develop and improve financial processes * Preparing payroll for in accordance with current HMRC legislations
* Creating and issuing contracts, offer letters and reviewing company's policies
* Overseeing disciplinary meetings and individual performance & salary reviews
* Verifying and processing employees' expenses
Accounts & Management Accounts
What you'll need to succeed
AAT Qualified / Qualified by experience / Part Qualified
Excellent sage experience
Payroll Experience
History of completing a full remit of accountancy prep and reporting
Competent of Excel
