We are working for a well known business that is recruiting for a Trainee Management Accountant to join their business based in Skelmersdale.

Description

As Trainee Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering monthly financial information on site performance including production of management accounts, P&L analysis
• Assisting in preparing budgets and forecasts
• Variance analysis
• Daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports
• Reporting on operational performance, assessing areas for improvement
• Cash flow forecasting
• Producing ad hoc reports at senior management request

Profile

The successful candidate must have:

• Either a finance related degree or be AAT qualified, will also consider early stage CIMA/ACCA studiers
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Exposure to month end accounts preparation is ideal
• Inquisitive nature and willing to challenge processes with desire to improve
• Comfortable working as an individual and as part of a team
• Hard worker, good attitude and flexible
• Progressive individual who is keen to learn
