THE ROLE:

Primary business partner for local sales & market teams. Drive management and control over TPI, forecasting, and analysis of DCM through close partnership with the sales team. Works closely with pricing & promotion analysts and forecasting analysts in the larger market team to drive consistent practices and business support.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• DCM reporting, analysis & forecasting
• Coordinate and collaborate on volume forecasts with the sales team, OTD, and local marketing.
• Works on pricing & promotional analysis in collaboration with the local market team
• Promotional ROI assessment
• Pricing and margin analysis
• Collaborates with the TPI analyst in the market to drive accruals and improved understanding of market-based promotional and sales discretionary spending
• Support month-end closing duties associated with TPI, Sales, revenue recognition, etc
• Coordinate with central teams to ensure appropriate levels of support, analysis, and reporting are available in the market and supported through key central processes.
• Generation of ad hoc reports as required by the business

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Analyst will have the following skills:
• A degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent) or AAT qualification or Cima part qualified or fully qualified
• Good understanding of Excel (V-Look Ups, Pivot Tables)
• Be able to manipulate large amounts of data to draw meaningful conclusions
• Able to have transparent and productive relationships with peers and collaborate successfully
• Team player with "can do" attitude, "hands-on" mindset, and ability to work across functions/teams
• Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
• Use own initiative to push for and create new solutions, seek out opportunities to improve ways of working
• Communicate clearly with all stakeholders at all levels
• Willingness to learn new skills and develop capabilities
