- Remediation of compliance issues for existing regulations (e.g. MiFID II, SFTR)
- Compliance with new regulatory requirements by defining solutions
- Employing structured analysis techniques such as Use Cases and decision tables to ensure completeness, clarity and non-ambiguity of requirements in JIRA
- Partnering with Business and Technology to mitigate risks arising from observations through identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, implementing and managing testing of technical fixes and enhancements
- Partnering with internal stakeholders including Operations, Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit and the business to embed a best in class service to internal clients
- Preparation and provision of updates and management information, providing transparency for existing issues and progress on remediation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data analysis and presentation
- Verifying requirements and priorities with stakeholders
- Managing change requirements and maintaining requirement traceability
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in the business architecture
- Effectively presenting information to support prioritisation and proposed solutions
- Identify, prioritize and resolve regulatory reporting observations and issues
- Definition and implementation of enhanced tools and methods to enable continuous improvement across the function;
- Support internal reviews from Internal Audit and Compliance, understanding and challenging observations, agreeing remediation points and applying lessons learnt across other reporting.
Knowledge/Experience:
- MiFID II
- Transaction Reporting
- Extensive business analysis skills with experience of providing detailed and clear project documentation
- Proven experience developing creative solutions
- In-depth industry experience with strong product, front to back and technical knowledge
- Excellent working knowledge of Transaction and Trade reporting regulations
- Good stakeholder management experience, especially impactful communication, influencing and running project governance, change management and benefits realization
Skills:
- Self-starter, able to work on initiative and organize themselves
- Aable to articulate issues and propose solutions effectively and succinctly
- Good interpersonal communication skills which will be required for both internal and external business partners - with an ability to communicate ideas at a high level for management and at the detailed level for change development
